About

I am a retired Presbyterian minister who has a deep interest in early church history. Its study has led me back to a more esoteric, gnostic understanding of spirituality. It is closely connected to the Eastern religions which teach that Divinity is within every person but is experienced by knowledge and awareness. I believe the Church began this way, based upon centuries of “mystery teachings” but by the 4th Century, was taken over and centralized by Constantine with the “orthodox Fathers.” The rest were banned or worse but in 1945, several of the lost gospels were discovered at Nag Hammadi, Egypt, and since have been revolutionizing tradition theology.
